• Are you suffering from morning sickness?
  • Brushing your teeth may make you feel worse but it is still very important.
  • A toothbrush with a small head will help to reduce that gagging feeling.
  • It will get better!
  • Try and eat something. You are more likely to be ill if you have an empty stomach. Keep to sugar free snacks such as dry crackers, toast or bread.
  • Visit your Dentist. You may find that your gums bleed. Keep brushing and tell your dentist - but don't worry as this is quite normal in pregnancy.
  • You may be entitled to free NHS treatment.
